You'll still get STEX Discs if you've donated the minumum! (Unless you've requested not to receive them.)
In this third edition of the STEX Collector's Edition DVDs, we bring you the very best Buildings, Lots, Maps and other Goodies submitted to the Simtropolis Exchange from 2007 - 2008. As always, these collections are made possible by numerous contributors who have generously given their time and skill to enhance, extend and improve our SimCity 4 games.
As always, the STEX DVD Team has picked out some of the very best files submitted to the Simtropolis Exchange, organized and collected all on a single disc for your enjoyment. Some of these you've surely seen before, and some you might have missed, but we're sure there is definitely something for everyone. This collection contains over 1600 files that we consider are some of the best that were contributed over a period of two years (between 2007-2008), including over 1300 BATs, 200 Lots and 100 maps (not to mention dozens of dependency packages).
As always, there will be a few bonus items never before seen on the STEX that some of our favourite contributors have kindly provided just for this disc.

How do I get it?
Give and Recieve! This community is made up of people like you, who have a deep fascination with city building games. As of 2009, it seems like EA and Maxis are providing very little official support for the SimCity franchise. Simtropolis helps to fill this gap. But even as this large community is free for everyone, there are real-world costs associated with its operation. By helping us with a minimum donation of $30, we'll send you this Volume 3 DVD as a thank you gift for your support! How great is that?! You can donate online using PayPal (a PayPal account is not required, and the process is very simple).
Upon receipt of your donation, we will send the gift to you, you do not need to take any further action! We will deliver to the address that you specify when you make your donation.
Where do you ship?
We will attempt to ship anywhere in the world that can receive mail! Although it is not necessary, if you are overseas (we are based in Canada), the shipping team would be most grateful if you could donate a few extra dollars on top to cover shipping -- this is entirely voluntary! We don't have any hard rules here! :-)
If you are unable or unwilling to use PayPal, you can also snail mail your donation to us. Send an email to email@example.com for instructions!
How long does it take to get to me?
The discs are produced in batches on an as-needed-basis, once per week. Typically, batches are mailed out first thing every Monday morning. To make the Monday shipment, your donation must arrive before 5pm EST the previous Sunday, or else you might get bumped to the next batch (we will always try to squeeze in late-comers!) All in all, we found that the average wait time is about 10 to 15 days.
When will it be available?
The DVD is now completed and has already begun production! Wow! We underestimated how many discs we'd need for the first batch, as many of you have kindly made donations to get this collection. Our manufacturing plant* is in full production but we are going to need a few extra days to produce the discs. Rest assured, you WILL get yours!! (*Please note: we do not actually have any manufacturing plants anywhere, we are creating all these packages manually. :) )
