A Guide to Realistic Farms

Please PM rushman5 if you have any questions about this article.

This is rushman5's tutorial for creating realistic farms. I reccomend you download (or make) a blank lot that costs nothing to plop and nothing to bulldoze, you'll need it.

1)- Find a blank, flat-like area that you want to place your farm
on. I chose this piece of land here-

2)- Next, you may want a small street that goes to the center and a
roundabout, or maybe not. That is up to you. However, I'd lay down
the basic zoned area like this

3)- This is where that handy lot really shines. Plop the lot along
the contours of hills, valleys and such, like this

You can play around with it by creating a diagonal effect if you
really want to.

4)- Now get your Industrial- Agriculture zone handy ('c' key) and hold it in one tile in
the center of the outlined area to fill it in. This way the zoneing
process if fast, easy, and won't (hopefully) build roads.

5)- Now this is why you get a lot with no bulldoze costs, so you can
mow it all down quickly & efficiently.

6)- This should be (or close to) an almost final result. You can stop
now if you want, or read on to make it even better.

7)- Now use a little cheat (or a glitch) in the game by pressing
Ctrl+Alt+Shift and click on the God Mode button. From there you can
let go of the three keyboard keys, and choose the God Mode Trees
Tool. Depending on what mods you have, your trees may look
different. I'm using cycledogg's trees, which are on the STEX.
Anyways fill in the entire area, or region if you have done these
steps to create many farms. Hold it over everything, including
the zoned area like this

Then add a zone for a house if you want or even
some rural trails, and press play. Don't forget to give your farm power, as it won't grow without it.

Congratulations! You're Done!

Note how the farms are within geographic boundaries, just like in
real life.
