The link didn't work for me, but I did a bit of googling and the game looks very interesting! Shame it's going to be out around the same time as SimCity, because I probably can't afford both...
Cool! Another addition to my long list of SimCity wanna-be's!

Can't wait for the next penny-less kid to post "This is going to be much better than SimCity!"
I don't see how a fairly good transportation Sim is a Sim City wannabe. You have no control over how the city is managed aside from the transport. Anyhow, I'm definitely gonna get this because I liked the first one so much, mainly for the map editor :P
oh i hade alot of fun with CiM, just by building the map hehe.

Now look at this, they are actually listening to theyr fans and what they reguested, and they are actually making the game betther not like SC5

definetly gona buy it

Did you see how big that map is? o.O
Looks very promising ... and they are actually listening to their customers. Amazing. And yes, I did notice the map.
YEEEESSSSSSS, Finally CIM 2 is announced.

This game is looking awesome for a pre alpha version. Cant wait to see the final pre release graphics.

Maps look huge compared to the original game. Great news that we can now build lots of different types of roads and the city will be dynamic with day and night cycle and timetables. So many improvements despite little info released so far.

We are also getting CO OP mode and multi-player mode as well as a full single player sandbox mode. This is on top of the single player campaign mode.

Cant wait to get this game. So far I have hit over 200 hrs of gameplay on CIM 1. If you want to check out the developer interview check out this video.

This just shows me what Simcity 2013 could have been.
I've not played CiM before but according to what I see in the video it looks like something I might play. Of course if it requires full time connection or is only by digital download then I won't be playing. In the meantime it appears worth keeping an eye on.
I enjoyed traffic giant, and CIM. Looking forward to this one quite a bit.

Thanks for posting the video that's what I meant to link the article to.

I'm so pumped up for this game... at least if simcity ends up being a bust 2013 won't totally suck. They completely listened to fans and this one interveiw provides so much information the Simcity team need to do stuff like this.

YEAH!! I've been addicted to CiM for a while and this news couldn't come at a better time.
I did like the historical feel of CiM and I was hoping that would be kept for this new release.

Also, they should really stop calling Metro to the Railway. It bugs me.

Can't wait for the next penny-less kid to post "This is going to be much better than SimCity!"

It will be. Heck, at least you can actually create a CITY.

Just because you're a screaming Maxis fangirl doesn't mean everyone else is...

Ha! Nice. People don't seem to seem to understand that times have change wether is better or worst. Maxis/EA ten years ago is not the same of what they are now. Talk about blind trust.
I kinda wish Maxis would combine with this team. Or vice versa. I love the glassbox engine from simcity 2013, but the transport options are a little dull compared to this, and the graphics of the transport network here looks better
I know SimCity uses glassbox which requires a lot of simulation and computer power. I think I will get SimCity more for fun, and this more for playing with transport which is my favourite part of SC4
The game seems good, Shame the presenter lacked confidence while explaining the game, Made me somewhat lose interest.

I'm in full agreement there, and they exploited the rich history of the cities in CiM to a T. Aesthetically the game was pleasing, both in the graphics and music department. Gameplay was good as one could employ multiple strategies in building a network. I can't wait for CiM2.

I'd also recommend CiM to anyone looking for a game that is both fun and engaging.
