A few months ago, we had the pleasure to meet and greet Andrew Beegle (Editor in Chief at Zam.com) at Monte Cristo to try out Cities XL. Andrew was quite impressed with the game but since Zam.com is one of the biggest MMOs-only-websites around he wanted to try out the online part for himself before publishing a preview.

One of the main things we wanted to do from the start with Cities XL was to enable you to experience your cities on all levels. From the regular view in previous city builders to a sky-high sattellite view giving you an entire perspective of your city, down to the street level where you can see your citizens enjoying their daily city lives in the peaceful town you build for them.

  • Anno 1404: Dawn of Discovery Review

    (20 points) by Boggy1 on Jun-14-2009 , 5:19 PM
Possible interest to Sim City players. The Anno series is a German-produced city-building game franchise, where the focus is mainly on economic management than combat. You take a lone ship, and build up a colony on an island in the New World, eventually turning it into a vast empire. Great fun! The next instalment, Anno 1404, is due out later this month, and bit-tech have published a great early review of it.
