| Hi folks, before release, Amazon.de offered in cooperation with Monte Christo a limited number of Lifetime Editions of Cities XL. This included not only the game but a special key which gives you access to the Planet Offer for your lifetime (or at least until the servers shut down ). I bought such Edition but it occured that I don't have enough time to play the game as I would like to.So I'm giving away my lifetime code and anyone is welcome to make his bid on ebay, especially those of you outside Germany where no lifetime edition was offered. According to Monte Christo it doesn't matter which version of the game you got to register the code. [edit] The Auction has ended. Greetings from Germany Nirobai |
| There is a rule on the site saying that you are not to adveritse or sell keys on this site. Please do that else where. |

|
| You could start a contest: the winner wins the key : ) just wondering.
Why did you do this? Don't you think that who wants to buy the key will search it without an advertisement? |

There is a rule on the site saying that you are not to adveritse or sell keys on this site. Please do that else where. If so, I haven't found it. The rules say the following: [...] c. Creating spam-bot accounts solely for advertising purposes;[...] Neither have I done. But if the mods feel that the thread is inapropiate, please feel free to delete it. I don't want to cause any trouble. Just wanted everybody to have a chance to get the offer. I remember the many posts in the beta-forums with complaints about why only germany got the lifetime edition. So here's a possibility for everybody else to get one. Greetings Nirobai |
| Don't worry...
Maybe you could start a discussion about the decision of MC about releasing only a limited number of lifetime editions to mask the advertisement. Imo MC did a bad thing; why did they released it only in Germany? |

| The rule was made back when there were beta keys on the site. There were mebers that were trying to sell beta keys to other members. That was prohibited and all the useres doing it were banned. This is almost the same thing, you are coming here to advertise that you are selling a cities -xl key. While it is a actual key and not a beta key might make what you are doing a exception to the rule, but it is still considerd "selling" |

The rule was made back when there were beta keys on the site. There were mebers that were trying to sell beta keys to other members. That was prohibited and all the useres doing it were banned. This is almost the same thing, you are coming here to advertise that you are selling a cities -xl key. While it is a actual key and not a beta key might make what you are doing a exception to the rule, but it is still considerd "selling" There is a big difference in trying to sell a betakey and a game- or lifetimekey. Betakeys were given away for free and without the right to make profit with them. This lifetimekey is paid for with my very own money and thus the choice what to do with it is mine. Whether I use it, give it away for free or sell it is of no concern to Monte Christo and not prohibited. So I'm not selling anything illegal. If the moderators say they don't want any advertising in this forum I will delete the thread instantly, but they should also make this clear in the rules. For clarification: I'm not selling my account (which belongs to Monte Christo) but a code which you have to use on your own account with a full version of the game registered to. Greetings Nirobai |
