Update 6!!!!! Road Trip 1

About Cedardale Road Signs:

Highway signs follow the traditional US standard of Big Green Signs(BGS) with some blue(attractions), yellow(instructional/cautionary) and white(HOV) signs
regular roadway signs are all yellow

We start our way zigzaging toward the new downtown im working on in Waverley Gap, with Exit 53 on I-17

At the end of the ramp we encounter a Directional sign

We turn right onto Waverley Road, toward Historic Cedarville, a growing tourist attraction.

As we approach the following roundabout, formerly the center of cedarville, we encounter another sign

We choose to continue on East CD(Cedardale) 12, Eastbrook Road

We come to the Old Cedarville Bypass intersection and turn left

The sign

As we continue on it becomes clear why this is called OLD Cedarville Bypass, since it practically goes through the middle of town now

We intersect with Broadway Extesion now, in the industrial park

After going through more industrial development and Crossing the Central and Eastern Rail Line, we come to an interchange with Interstate-17 again.

You can see by the patches that route changes and age have riddled this sign.

We merge back onto Interstate 17 North Via a parclo

And we leave off merging into traffic on the interstate

Thats it....

Great update. I like your unique choice of yellow signs along surface streets as opposed to green. It likely makes the signs more noticeable, especially with all the turns on Route-12. I also like the RHW bridge for I-17 over Route-12.

Your RHW are amazingly realistic. The signs work so well with everything else. I also like your use of FAR. Keep up the good work!

Quick replies:
cavscrew1- thanks
Schulmanator- thanks for that, but all i did was use the kurumi sign maker
dfnva-CD-12 really only has two real turns, the roundabout doesn't really count. Waverley Road->Eastbrook Road, turn onto Old Cedarville Bypas, turn onto Broadway
Twenty20-Thanks
Urbanterror-thanks

Hey, I like this! I like the signs used, they are really good! I like the way how in previous updates, the city just keeps growing and getting bigger. Reminds me a lot of my city Oak Pines in my old Skagit County cj. http://www.simtropolis.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=36&threadid=103852&STARTPAGE=1&FTVAR_FORUMVIEWTMP=Linear

Keep up the good work! Also, could you point me in the direction of the factories to the right of Old Cedarville Bypass in the industrial park?

Evillions- Thnks!
Raysfan16-I liked that shot too, and i was just kidding about the advertisement, sorry if it wasnt clear
N106-Thank. Always in need of more viewers!
buildsolid-Yeah, im a little overwhealmed at the moment!
jacuilina-thank you
Hawkeye9-Perfect, well, maybe as close to perfection as one can come

On to:

UPDATE 8 Cedardale Airport

and ambleburg

CD5 snakes its way through the Hamlet

Ambleburg is a VERY small hamlet(<200 citizens[see my blog for population statuses in CD])
Thats why it was a perfect spot to build the airport to acommodate tourists coming to see Historic Cedarville and Industries shipping and Recieving Goods
The Airport is VERY accessible by industries, due to a massive railyard.

Here is the Main Cargo Center at the Airport, where the largest goods and quantities are handled

Overview of the Airfeild

A smaller cargo craft preparing for takeoff

The Commercial Terminal, where all the historical societies fly into to view the Historic Cedarville Center

The General Aviation Center and Small Cargoes Center

The Hamlet of Ambleburg, including the Passenger Rail Station

Interchange with US-522(522 splits off of i-17 between here and Cedarvil, which is quite a distance)
And theAirport Services(Holiday Inn Express, Super 8 Motel, and a gas Station)

Thats it
Untill Next Time

Absolutely Amazing. I like all the dense foilage around the whole region. That mixed with Train Tracks, makes the region remind me of the model railroads I always used to enjoy making and looking at. I think this town needs a waterfront development on the right side of the Region. But that's just me.
