Interesting. Looks like the Dubuque metro could have up to a million sims. Very realistic.

another excellent update. I can't wait to see the downtown streets filled in with buildings and recreation! I think one thing that i noticed that makes your cj look so realistic is the different shades of green. Some houses have 'faded' green grass, in others it is birghter - just as if one has sprinklers and one doesn't. Amazing job.

WOW David. Dubuque is coming along wonderful. I just love viewing Dubuque and all of your creations. I do think that the rest area looks great, but can you try to add some buildings to the reat area. Looking forward to that next update. JKB

Hi there!!!

I know, I get behind with my updates. I spend most of my time to play instead to post pictures here...
The NE area of Dubuque is soon to be done (2-3 weeks). I'll develop after the SW part of my region! I hope to do that during my holidays in fall december!

Here is a couple of pictures about North Menominee and Benton, Iowa! Hope You'll enjoy them!

The area is a farming community in the eastern part of my region, it includes Benton, Prairie Corners and Louisbourg (under construction).
The area is part of Lacoma County.

Replies:

Victor Valdes  -  Thank you!

Art128  -  Thanks!

Larks2242  -  Thanks!!!

N106  -  Thanks. Yep but much more bigger. My goal is to reach at 800'000 inhabitants. At the moment my region has 250'000 residents!

Benedict  -  Hello. Yep, I did some sketches about downtown. I've some ideas about what building I'll plop. But there is a lot to do before. About the grass, you're right. I've noticed that when looking on Google Earth. So, I try to recreat this the most realistic as possible. Thanks for your comment!

ecoba  -  Thanks Ethan!!!

TmiguelT  -  Thank you!

bakercity  -  Hi! Dubuque is going to be very huge! The most important part of the MSA is the western suburbs and nothing was done yet.
For the rest areas, I've seen that not a lot of them have a building, just some WC and picnic tables.
Thanks for your comment JKB!

Chptrk  -  Thank you!

See ya!

Hello Mr. Beer!

Glad to see you're still doing your business (and don't worry about time schedules ... better late than never, who know this better than me ... )

That farmland still looks great. I just imagine sitting in a car cruising for miles on the highway through these planes ...

And the road map look as great as ambitious - I really look forward to what you might show us!

Take care my friend!

Bernhard
