Sure, here are a few.....

Here's one:
www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm
-Obsolete file.

Another:
www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm

Here is an add-on that is almost essential for interesting seasports:
www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm

Hope I helped. I searched 'seaport' in the STEX, and those were some of the results that came up, so if you don't like these, just search that and see if their is something that you like.

Also, make sure you have the leatest NAM:
PC:

www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm

MAC:

www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm

Edited - Removed link to obsolete file.

I would go and get the CDK seaports by PEG. Just search CDK SP on the stex and they should show up

@DCMetro: Before you link someone to a bunch of seaports, you should make sure that they will all work properly together. And your first link is to a locked file.

@babiez: The PEG CDK seaports are some of the best, but if you do download them all, note that you MUST also install the CDK seaport controller file for them as well, and that you use no other seaports but the CDK seaports. If a seaport that is not supported by the seaport controller file is used, the game will crash.

Be sure to check the seaport edition of the "Show Us Your..." threads in City-Building Concepts. Great place to look for ideas and share your own work. I posted a link in there the other day to a seaport-making tutorial that might help as well.

babiez,

You might also check out the Functional Seaports from SC4D. You will need to register on the LEX if not. The set offers various seaports that upgrade as usage grows. Note: it is very important to follow the installation directions for this set and all custom seaports. As His Divine Hand mentioned, imporoper installation will cause game crashes and possible corrupted cities. It is a good idea to make backups of any cities you try them out in.

I was wandering (as a rookie builder of custom seaports) is there any lots i can download that are a container yard, or even a pack to make one? It just looks weird having a huge port but no containers :-P

Big Thing

Containers are available in many forms on lots.. check out what's available. As an example PEG's functional seaport (replaces the ingame maxis one) even has a container port to till that funcition..

It worked for me. I have it in my city, and I just downloaded. I was only trying to help. Sorry......

It's not so much that the files don't work (they can), but more of a case of newer and different ways of doing things. The older custom seaports and their dependencies had to be installed very carefully and in such a way as to restrict which ones would work with each other. These two aspects of the early lots led to issues that caused problems. It wasn't the fault of the creators, but more of the way things had to be made due to the understanding of the game at the time. As more was learned, different ways were developed that made those early items a bit 'obsolete' and weren't supported any more. While it is still important to properly install custom seaports, in today's game there are different options and more variety. My two cents...

bigthing...

If you mean you're looking for lots with nothing but containers to create a container yard, there are several sets on the STEX. You might check out these. Here's another similar set.
