| I want new terrains (desert, snow, etc.), but I don't know what mod or addon to get from STEX. Links to good, easy ones would be nice. Thanks! |

| Hello there,there are plenty of links to change your ingame terrain textures,ranging from snow to grassy textures and desert sands,here are some links that will get you started... You can begin your search for snow texture Here. And some links for a desert terrains Here. Or you can get the Meadowshire Texture Mod which is available at SC4D and commonly used by members here,you need to register to the LEX but if you have a account there already then you can proceed downloading the terrain texture mod. | You may want to make one city tile have serveal of the types of terrain you plan to use. For example, if you know you'll have lots of cliffs, mountains, and highlands, you should test the terrains you download to really see if its what you want! |

| You may want to download a water mod as well, while you're at it. A custom terrain mod looks even greater with a custom water mod installed. Unless you are making a "land only" region, that is..  |

| i use cycledogs terrain mod. it can be found by searching here on the stex. one of the best, and lots of options! |
