| Hello,
I'll go ahead and move this thread for you. Good luck finding a solution. ![]() |
When I have residential 4x4 zones, estates or hi-rise tenements come up. Instead I want to make the game do fancy condo/hotel towers... If you mean the game's regular higher level buildings, you'll need to play the game and plan your cities until conditions (demand, desireability, etc.) have been met that will allow such buildings to grow. If you are referring to some custom content that you have downloaded, the same applies. Plus, you might check to see if the buildings require a certain zone size to grow, such as a continuous 4x4 'footprint' that you can use 'ctrl' while zoning to make. You might also check the articles in the Omnibus on hints for growing cities. |

| If you're getting tenements (meaning the demand and desirability is at its lowest) you need to either let the game demands develope or add things to improve desirability like excellent traffic to work, parks, landmarks and civics, etc. |
| OK i'm gonna try this- CROSS YOUR FINGERS! Next Discussion: Where can I get the So called 'Money Tree"?? Edited to combine multiple posts and provide a more accurate title. -CaptCity Also, the Money Tree is from the Lot Exchange on the official site. |
