Knapp14: I'm currently using the Columbus terrain mod, PEG's 'Brigantine' water mod, and PEG's Grey Marble rock mod. I also have the most recent version of the NAM, a slope mod by Jeronij, and a bridge height mod.

rusty_777: Thank you! I hope you'll be following this CJ.

In other news: Since none of the city citizens seemed interested in the new development, and the city council was torn over the decision, it has been decided to be put off. the proposal to expand Lexington Bay's suburbs will be held off for a couple more posts.

In this update: Calgary!

“Around 9am I started to make my way out of Lexington Bay and into Calgary. There weren’t many Taxi’s…or cars to rent. However, mass transit systems were very prolific! I took a bus along the coast and into Calgary.”

“On my ride, I passed a local rail, seems they have very advanced trains for their little region.”

“The bus took me directly into the city center, and from there it was a short walk to meet my tour guide.”

“The tour guide told me how Calgary could boast the largest commercial fishing port in the region, and the largest population, at around 7,000 residents. It is also where many of the regions leaders meet, even though there is no formal government building. He then proceeded to show me around the entire city, to all corners.”

"Gratiot Motors is the largest industry in Calgary, specializing in boat engines."

"The City's first bridge."

“The Regions largest powerplant, it’s a geothermal/natural gas hybrid plant, and even provides power to the most remote areas of Calgary, as well as some neighboring cities.”

“These bridges link a future development area with the current city center, and we believe they will be heavily used in the future.”

“Fred’s fishery and market. Also in his market are all the fishery supplies you could ever think of.”

“I got back just in time for a meeting, and the moment I stepped in the mayor held up a photo:”

This is where you can vote! There is a proposal to develop this area into a Marina, commercial zone, and even a medium density residential area! The Marina’s will require quite a bit of public funding, but there would be so much more income from the residential housing and commercial zones. A road has already been built across the area, so many argue that the plan so go ahead, others are not looking forward to higher taxes.

“I thought about how Calgary seems to be going along with many development plans, only further enforcing my new perception that this will soon be a very bustling place. However, the day was getting late, and I had to rest for tomorrow, when I will go into the hills and mountains, and explore some villages there.”

“I was rested in a small motel near Calgary’s main ferry terminal.”
